Shania Twain Will Also Be a Guest Judge on American Idol Auditions

After the shocking departure of Paula Abdul, American Idol is filling up Abdul’s seat (temporarily) with several popular names in music, such as Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham.
Mary J. Blige will also participate as guest judge at upcoming American Idol auditions, and the latest star that will join the panel of judges is country superstar Shania Twain. While Blige teamed up with the Idol crew in Atlanta, 43-year-old Twain will take seat in the judging panel along with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in Chicago on August 30-31.
The four-judge format has said will be kept by the Idol producers, although there’s still no solid confirmation on who will replaced Abdul’s position permanently. Well, I don’t mind seeing many more popular guest judges on this season of American Idol, what about you?
