Looks like this week is a bad week for some couples, proven by Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush who join Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle in the breakup club.

The reality star and her athlete boyfriend are no longer a pair, as confirmed by Kardashian’s rep. They have been together for two years and there have been talks about marriage too, but unfortunately, their road of romance stop here.

A source said both parties are very sad about the split, and explained the reason behind the split, “They love each other a lot and hope someday they can make it work. But for now, he starts his football season this week and Kim starts filming season four of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and they just need this time apart.”

The source also detailed, “They never get to see each other, ever. It’s been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it’s tough.”

28-year-old Kardashian and the 24-year-old New Orleans Saints running back were seen as the perfect Hollywood pair, stepping out on red carpets and posing for a GQ spread together. Recently, the former couple returned from a charity trip to Africa with Kardashian’s sister Khloe on behalf of the Russell Simmons Diamond Empowerment Fund. Too bad their togetherness is in the past now.
