Do you miss Natalie Portman? well, don’t worry then, because the beautiful actress is reported has joined the cast of Thor.

The 28-year-old Closer star will be Jane Foster in the upcoming comic-book adaptation movie, who was a nurse and first love of Thor, the title character in the Marvel Comics.

Portman will act alongside Chris Hemsworth who play as Thor in the movie that will be directed by Kenneth Branagh. The movie tells a story about the Norse warrior who’s cast down to Earth to live among humans. The shooting will begin early next year, and planned to be released in theaters May 20, 2011.
