Top Three of American Idol
Each week has passed by, and it’s getting closer to American Idol’s finale. This week performances, the last three contestants; David Archuleta, David Cook, and Syesha Mercado, sang three songs. One chosen by the judges, one chosen themselves and one picked by ‘Idol’ producers.
Being the only female left, Syesha also get the lower praise this week. After singing Peggy Lee’s Fever, Paula Abdul commented,”I just feel like it’s an interesting choice, but I’m not sure it shows me who Syesha is as an artist”. While Simon Cowell said, “Syesha, I think you will probably regret that decision tomorrow because you had a chance to prove you are a temporary recording artist with your own choice of song, Instead you did quite a lame cabaret performance”.
“Paula chose a dope song for you, You can sing anything dude⦠you are in the zone, you’re in it to win it, baby”. Randy Jackson commented, on Archuleta’s first performance, singing Paula Abdul’s choice, “And So It Goes” by Billy Joel. While Simon has some critics on his second and third performances.
The last one, David Cook, receive a very good praise of his performances. Paula said, “David, see ya in the finals! That’s what I predict,” while Simon gave the ultimate comment on his rendition of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”. He said, “David, one of the great songs of all time and I have to tell you, David Cook wins the night”.
Three more left, which two will survive to the finals? We’ll see on the Result Show!
