Jessica Szohr From Gossip Girl Will Join the Cast of Piranha 3-D
Jessica Szohr Will Star in the Upcoming "Piranha 3-D" Movie
Jessica Szhor’s star is getting brighter and brighter since her appearance in popular series, Gossip Girl.
And now, Jessica is in the progress of stepping up to the ladder of big screen movies. She is reportedly had agreed to star in Piranha 3-D, an upcoming remake of the 1978 cult classic terror flick from The Hills Have Eyes remake director Alexandre Aja.
Just like the original, the movie will tells a story about a lakeside town being terrorized by prehistoric man-eating razor-toothed fish. Well, who said scary and fishy are not a good combination? It could be even better and scarier this time, because the movie will be in 3-D.
Beside 24-year-old Szohr, other famous names will be featured in this project. There’s Elisabeth Shue that will played as the local sheriff, Ving Rhames as one of her deputies, and Adam Scott as a Navy diver sent in to help rescue the town. Szohr is said will have the role of Kelly, a hot young townie caught up in the excitement of co-eds who have descended upon the area for spring break.
This Dimension Films project will begin shooting later this month in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and planned to be released March 2010. Watch out for those creepy bites!
