Chris Brown Pleaded Not Guilty of Rihanna’s Abuse

Another update on “Chris Brown & Rihanna’s Good Love Gone Bad”…
On Monday, the R&B singer pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles court to charges of threatening and assaulting his girlfriend, fellow R&B star Rihanna.
Brown entered his plea during his arraignment, spoken in a very soft voice, while standing alongside his lawyer, Mark Geragos.
His mother also seen in the court room, looked a bit distressed, but stand by her beloved son. She sat in the first row, giving a moral support for 19-year-old Brown.
Brown is charged with two felony counts; and if he convicted on all counts, he could face a sentence ranging from probation to four years and eight months in state prison. Judge Patricia Schnegg set the next hearing for April 29.
After the hearing, Rihanna’s lawyer, Donald Etra said that Brown’s plea was “totally expected”. He said, his client would be pleased if the case to be concluded quickly, so that she can go back to her life and career. Etra then added that the Barbados-born singer would testify against Brown if required. He also reported that the Umbrella singer is in fine spirits and spending time with her family in Barbados.
Looking back last February 8, Brown was arrested after police said he was involved in an early morning altercation with a woman (later identified as Rihanna). According to a police affidavit, Brown was allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window, repeatedly punched her in the face, bit her ear and finger, and put her into a headlock. The affidavit also said that at one stage, Brown threatened to kill Rihanna.
The assault was just hours before their scheduled performance at the Grammys, resulting both singers canceled their performance later that day. Brown then got more negative results from his action, commercials got suspended, and an award was lost.
Brown is reported doing counseling now, which is a positive and improving thing. The couple got back together anyway after the incident, but currently taking some time apart from their relationship.
Geragos offered no comment and quickly left the courthouse with his client. The Superhuman singer left the courthouse with his mother, two bodyguards and an entourage.
Well, we’ll have to wait for another progress on the case then…

Quite unfortunate that this young man has to go through this terrible time, but it is still based on Wat happened and how the incident came up. If chris is guilty of what he is accused of then he should go on and face the consequences, but if he is not i just beg that they should let the young man be.
