Sex And The City Sequel in Theaters 2010

Still craving for more Carrie and Mr. Big? or maybe some more of sexy Samantha, cute Charlotte, and feisty Miranda?

Well, you have to be patient for another year, because the sequel of the box-office movie, Sex and the City, will be heading to theaters in 2010.

The sequel will be titled Sex and the City 2, and it will slide in the same slot in which the first movie opened in 2008. As confirmed by the box-office tracking firm Exhibitor Relations on Wednesday, the sequel will be released May 28, 2010, which is a Memorial Day weekend slot positions.

Looking back a few months ago, the adaption movie from hit HBO series successfully gained a spot in the box office. It grossed $415 million worldwide off a $65 million budget.

With a story and characters that already close to the heart of fans, especially because the series itself had a quite long running from 1998 to 2004, the sequel must be highly anticipated. Plus the fact that all four main stars of the movie; Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, along with writer-director Michael Patrick King already signed for the sequel. This better be good…

I can’t hardly wait for more Sex and the City!
