50 Cent is Future Star of Sylvester Stallone’s Movie
50 Cent Will Be Appearing on 'The Expendables' Movie
50 Cent is building up his acting career slowly but sure, one step at a time.
The rapper reportedly take another role in Sylvester Stallone’s future film, The Expendables. In the movie, Fifty -whose real name Curtis Jackson- played the character of Hale Caesar.
He stepped in to replace Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker’s spot, because the movie had a month-long shooting delay, and Whitaker had to do other prior commitments.
The Expendables tells a story about a team of mercenaries that heads to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. It will be full-filled with so many action stars, and promised a good action to watch.
Some of the stars who will appear in the movie are Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Jet Li and Stallone himself as Barney “The Schizo” Ross. Other macho men such as Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger have also been rumored will take part in the project.
Stallone, as the writer-director said about the role changing between Whitaker and Jackson, “A player is only as good as his coach. If a man can communicate in one medium, he can communicate in another if his strengths are brought out and he has the support of well-wishers. So, trust me, the change of Forest Whitaker to 50 Cent a.k.a. Curtis Jackson is a good one.”
33-year-old Jackson had appeared in several movies, since his debut in 2005′s Get Rich or Die Tryin’. This year alone, he is scheduled to be seen in Streets of Blood, Dead Man Running, and Spectacular Regret. He is also reportedly working on his untitled fifth studio album.
Well well well, Fifty is one busy man alright!
