The Good Old Memories of Mischa Barton and Luke Pritchard

Mischa Barton entered splitsville again.

23-year-old Mischa Barton and her rocker beau, Luke Pritchard, are no longer together. The actress announced the separation in her blog, saying that, “Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do.”

Former star of The O.C., dated 24-year-old Luke Pritchard since December last year. So, technically, the relationship was only three months old, but apparently both parties didn’t had any intentions to prolong it.

Although, at the time the pair began dating, Luke Pritchard said in an interview that he felt very lucky. As the lead vocalist and guitarist of British indie rock band The Kooks said about Barton, “She’s beautiful, so I feel lucky she decided to go out with someone like me. It came about because we have lots of friends in common and kept going to the same parties.”

It’s the same situation from Barton’s side. The actress of future movie Walled In still speaks nice things about Pritchard. As she wrote, “I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend. We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don’t regret our time together, I just couldn’t keep it going.” She also added, “There is no bitterness between us…that I know of (sorry, I had to joke!). If there ever is a case of two people staying friends I’m sure it will be the case with us – our personalities are very good for that. ”
