The wife of sexy singer Usher, Tameka Foster Raymond reportedly has suffered serious complications from plastic surgery in Brazil. But her condition is now stable, and she is recovering.

As Usher’s publicist Simone Smalls said about her condition, “Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil. Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital.” Smalls also added, “No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time.” A spokeswoman for Sirio-Libanes Hospital in Sao Paulo confirmed on Monday that 37-year-old Raymond was being treated there.

On Saturday night, 30-year-old Usher was supposed to be one of the performers at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, but he canceled his performance for what Davis called a serious family illness. Davis sent his thoughts through Usher’s mom, for whatever the family’s facing.

The R&B star and his wife were married in August 2007. They have two young sons, 2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 2-month-old Naveid Ely Raymond. Tameka is also a mother of three sons from a previous relationship.
