This year’s Brit Awards will showered with awesome singers and bands.

Coldplay and Welsh-born singer Duffy were among them, and they are also dominate the nominations for Britain’s prestigious music awards. Both of their albums, Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” and Duffy’s “Rockferry” are nominated for the title of best British album.

When the nominations were announced Tuesday, not only for Best Album, Coldplay is also nominated for the title of best British Group, competing with Elbow, Girls Aloud, Radiohead and Take That. For the international categories, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Kings of Leon are nominated.

The winners of this British answer for the Grammys will be announced in London on Feb. 18. Most winners are selected by a vote of over 1,000 industry members and include representatives from record companies, retailers and disc jockeys.
