Jennifer Hudson Canceled Video Shoot
Something that hadn’t been prepared well shouldn’t be rushed too soon. That’s a bit ‘words of wisdom’ that quite fit to describe Jennifer Hudson’s decision to canceled her video shoot plan.
A few days ago, we reported that the 27-year-old singer had a plan to go back to work. Hudson planned to shoot a video for her second single, If It Isn’t Love. The shoot will took place in Los Angeles next week, according her recording company, J Records.
But apparently, the plan had to be buried, even though it might be only got postponed. A source close to the Grammy winner said, “the video was set up before the tragedy and she felt like she should finish what she started, but she’s realized that she’s not ready to go back to work. It’s too early.” Well, it does too early, because the case of her family killings was only two months ago.
However, a rep for Hudson calls the plan to shoot new video was a “speculation”. As the rep said, “The video shoot was never confirmed, so there was nothing to cancel. [J Records' statement] was erroneous.”
Well… maybe the news-that-came-too-fast had sparked excitements for those in the record company or her fans in general, meaning Hudson showing signs of positive spirit. But if it was only a speculation, it didn’t matter actually. Who knows… with this news, Hudson’s spirit lifted up, because she knows how much people miss her.
That’s okay Jennifer…, take your time, as long as you want dear. :)
