Maybe it’s time to wrote an episode about “How Cobie Smulders became a Mother.”

Yap, the title already spills the bean! That’s because Cobie Smulders, the beautiful actress who played Robin Scherbatsky in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, is now pregnant with her first child. The future father is Smulders’s boyfriend, actor Taran Killam. According to the actress’s rep, Smulders is due in late spring 2009.

Smulders and Killam met through a mutual friend, and have worked together on HIMYM. Before successfully known as the television reporter in HIMYM, Canadian-born Smulders had appeared in several movies, including 2005′s comedy The Long Weekend and another sitcom, The L Word. While Killam has appeared on MadTV, and Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out. Hmmm… love blossomed in shooting location, I guess.

Well, congrats for the happy news, we can’t wait to see your beautiful child Cobie!
