Tobey and Wife Expecting Another Child

Another celebrity spawn on the way!

Spider-Man star, Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer, are expecting their second child in the spring next year. The news had been confirmed by Maguire’s publicist, Kelly Bush. This looks like what Maguire’s hoping for, as he once said in an interview, “I love being a dad!”

The couple who got married in Hawaii on September 3, 2007, already had a daughter named Ruby Sweetheart Maguire. Ruby’s middle name comes from a childhood nickname of Meyer’s given to her by her grandmother, who died a few months before Ruby’s birth.

33-year-old Maguire met 31-year-old Meyer in 2003, while Maguire was shooting the movie Seabiscuit at Universal Studios. Meyer is the daughter of Ron Meyer, president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios.

Although Maguire is popular for his role as the silent superhero, Spider-Man, he had starred in other movies with some great roles too. His screen credits include The Cider House Rules and Wonder Boys. Maguire will be seen again as Peter Parker, in the fourth series of Spider-Man, set to be launched in 2011.
