Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Welcomed A Baby Boy!
The baby Wentz is finally here!
After quite some time waiting for the D-day, singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her rock-star husband Pete Wentz finally have become parents for the first time.
On Thursday night, Ashlee delivered a boy, named Bronx Mowgli Wentz. People magazine reported Friday that the baby weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. Another tabloid, In Touch Weekly reported earlier on Thursday that Simpson-Wentz was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The couple’s spokeperson stated out that “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”
The 24-year-old singer and 29-year-old bassist got married last May, in a Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland-themed wedding. A few weeks after that, they announced Ashlee’s pregnancy. Ashlee is Jessica Simpson’s younger sister and following her sister’s steps in music. She has released three albums, and is (unluckily) famous for singing to a prerecorded track that malfunctioned on “Saturday Night Live” in 2004.
While Wentz is the bass player and main lyricist for the pop-punk band Fall Out Boy, which gained successfulness and many devoted fans since their first album. Their sophomore album was also a major hit by topping the U.S. Chart on February last year. Their third album is on the way, entitled Folie A Deux, and will be released on December 16.
Congrats happy parents!
