A Britain’s Newspaper Apologized to David Duchovny
David Duchovny
Agent Fox Mulder in The X-Files, David Duchovny could have his victory smile now, and play tennis again without hesitation.
Following his lawsuit that was filed last month to an article posted on the U.K. Daily Mail, the newspaper has officially apologized to the actor for suggesting a romance with his tennis coach ended his marriage to actress Tea Leoni. On Sunday, they publish an apology and admit that the article is “inaccurate.”
As written on the paper, “On October 19, an article about actor David Duchovny may have suggested he had an amorous relationship with a tennis coach, Edit Pakay. We now accept this is inaccurate and Ms. Pakay and Mr. Duchovny are only friends who used to play tennis occasionally. Their relationship went no further and was not a factor in Mr. and Mrs. Duchovny’s separation. We apologize to Ms. Pakay, Mr. Duchovny and to Mr. Duchovny’s family.”
So Mulder, looks like the case has been solved. Nicely done!
