Sean 'Diddy' Combs Will be a Guest Star in 'CSI: Miami' TV Series
Apparently, being a guest star is something contagious lately.
Following many other celebrities who guest starred on television series (remember the star-studded future episodes of How I Met Your Mother? check that out here, here, and here… or Oprah on 30 Rock?), music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs also wanted to get his shares of acting in a tv series. Not in a sitcom though, but in a famous crime drama.
The 39-year-old rapper has agreed to a two-episode appearance on CSI: Miami, as confirmed yesterday (11/18) by CBS, the series’s network. He will play the role of a prosecutor who doesn’t get along with police Lt. Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso. CBS said his episodes will probably air in mid- to late winter.
It looks like Diddy had an eye for acting. He delivered an awesome performance for his role in this year’s ABC movie, A Raisin in the Sun. Diddy starred in the tv movie, alongside Phylicia Rashad, and gained so much praises. He also act as one of the producers.
Maybe after this, he might want to spread his wings wider not only in music, but also in cinema territory. We’ll be waiting for your performance this time, D!
