Britney Spears Circus Album Cover

Britney Spears Circus Album Cover

The countdown is getting nearer and nearer!

Britney Spears’ new album, Circus, is less than a month from its release date, and it looks like the “appetizer” is already here to tempt us. The singer has just released the cover of her future album, along with the tracklist. The cover itself was not lookin’ so circus-y, and Britney herself look pretty simple-faced, than what a circus should look like. You know, joyful and all? But the bright colors of it is quite fit, actually.

The (former) pop princess has Womanizer as the first single and the first track of her sixth studio album, and it has been released September 26. On October 31, 2008 it was announced on Spears’s official website that the second track and the song that was the same title as the album, Circus, will be the record’s second single. It will be release on late-November or early-December to follow the album’s release and to commemorate Spears’s 27th birthday.

So far, Womanizer has made a record-breaking jump to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record set by rapper T.I.’s Live Your Life. It also achieved first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003. It is Spears’s first number one single on the Hot 100 since her debut back in 1998, …Baby One More Time.

Here’s the complete tracklist for your main course later on December 2nd:

  1. Womanizer
  2. Circus
  3. Out From Under
  4. Kill The Lights
  5. Shattered Glass
  6. If U Seek Amy
