Nelly Furtado is over her promiscuous days. She had found her man, and she’s a married woman now.

The ‘Maneater’ singer was secretly married over the summer to the sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon, but now sharing her happy news, “We got married July 19th. I love it. It’s a nice phase of my life. I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out. I’m happy … I’m excited about the future.”

29-year-old Furtado already has a four-year-old daughter Nevis, from a previous relationship to DJ Jasper Gahunia that ended in 2005. Her love life may not turn out well, although it is now, but her singing career is stepping up even bigger and better. Furtado found her fame back in 2000 with her single I’m Like A Bird, taken from her debut album Whoa, Nelly! The single earn her a Grammy for best female pop vocal performance.

The British Columbia-born singer worked together with her then-hubby on her third and most commercially success album, Loose in 2006. The album produce hits like Afraid, Promiscuous, and a duet with Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, All Good Things (Come To An End).

Furtado is not only busy on singing career, she also could be seen in the box office movie Max Payne, playing the role of Christa Balder, the wife of Alex Balder (Max Payne’s best friend & partner). Best of luck for your career Nelly, and congrats newlyweds!
