Ringo Starr Say No To Fan Mail
Ringo Starr has had enough. He just can’t take it anymore.
Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr posted a -quite weird- video on his official website, wearing sunglasses and flashing a peace sign, begging his fans to stop sending letters and requests for autographs.
In the video titled “Sorry, No More Signing Stuff”, the 68-year-old told his fans, “I want to tell you after the 20th of October please do not send fan mail to any address you have. Nothing will be signed after the 20th of October. If that is the date on the envelope, it’s gonna be tossed”. He also added, “I’m warning you with peace and love I have too much to do. So no more fan mail. Thank you, thank you. And no objects to be signed. Nothing”.
Although once in the Beatles, Starr was known as the goofier one, but apparently he’s not playing games this time. As he said; “This is a serious message to everybody watching my update right now. Peace and love. Peace and love”. Starr was reported had too much to do with everything in his life right now, so he didn’t have time to read or replying the mail.
The former resident of Liverpool is now has homes in Los Angeles and France. He has released more than 12 albums since The Beatles broke up in 1970, the most recent of which was “Liverpool 8″ in January 2008. He also has just ended a tour. Phew, what a busy life!
It looks like some people can’t handle being famous. Or is it the (bitter) act to gain more famous??
