Halle Berry - Sexiest Woman Alive (esquire.com)

Halle Berry is a one hot mama!

Men magazine “Esquire,” had crowned actress Halle Berry as their 2008 Sexiest Woman Alive. She’s in the cover for the magazine’s November edition, looking -of course- sexy with a black suit a bit opened and a blue silky tie. Her pose and outfit in the cover is a re-creation of 2000 cover photograph of former U.S. President Bill Clinton. Uhuh, definitely sexier. The cover is made special by Esquire, to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

“Well, I don’t know exactly what it means but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I’ll take it”, Berry wrote in the magazine’s article about the annual honor given by Esquire. The proud mother of daughter Nahla also tells the magazine what she thinks about what is sexy, “Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it’s about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being. It’s about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments”. Well said, girl!

As an actress, Berry had starred many movies and played several significant roles. Her career highlight was when she won an Oscar in 2002 for her role in the movie “Monster’s Ball”. She played the wife of an executed murderer who becomes romantically involved with a guard at the prison where her husband had been held. Berry became the first black woman to take home an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her next project is a movie titled “Frankie and Alice”, a film about a woman with multiple personality disorder.

In her personal life, however, even though Berry had been in two failed marriages, she is now happily live with her new family; daughter Nahla who was born last March, from her relationship with French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, ten years her junior. Halle Berry, you are definitely entitled to be the Sexiest Woman Alive!
