Mena Suvari ‘Calls a Truce’ With Her Estranged Husband
It seems that the bitter war of divorce between Mena Suvari and her husband of two years, Simone Sestito is reaching its end.
According to reports, the actress reached a settlement with her husband about his demand of $17,000 per month in spousal support.
As was reported, “The two talked things out in private and were able to bury the hatchet.”
The celebrity website also quoted a representative for Mena Suvari who said, “They have amicably resolved their financial differences outside of Mediation and Court.”
The rep added, “Neither party will pay the other any support.”
Suvari is famous actress of The American Pie: reunion. She split from Sestito last November who recently claimed that he has ‘negative balances’ on all his personal and business accounts.
As per the court documents, Suvari’s husband also said that he has been forced to pay his bills with credit cards and he is forced to take loans from his parents.
Citing these, he had asked for $17,000 a month from Mena Suvari as part of their divorce settlement as he claimed that the American Beauty Star is earning nearly $750,000 a year.
Before this marriage fiasco, Mena also suffered a break up of five year old union to her first husband cinematographer Robert Brinkmann which ended in 2005.
She recently admitted that all her exes end up hating her and she isn’t on good terms with any of them.
The actress said, “I’ve never run into an ex who I have fallen back in love with. They all end up hating me. I just keep moving on. I don’t like going back, I think that’s unhealthy.”
While her personal life seems to be problematic, Mena’s career is certainly moving along in positive direction.
The actress is scheduled to appear in three upcoming films including an untitled comedy from writer Hilary Winston about a woman who seeks help from her friends to get revenge on an ex-boyfriend for dumping her.
