Last year, Brad Womack declared that Emily Maynard was ‘The One’ as he bent down on his knees in the Bachelor finale.
However, now it seems that the 38-year-old man has little or no affection for his ex-fiancée Emily Maynard, who is to appear as the new Bachelorette this season.
Womack, the two time Bachelor star said in an interview to his local ABC news station, “I think I dodged a bullet with that relationship.”
He also said that he has no plans to watch his ex-fiancée find a new love, either.
“All I’ll say is she is a helluva woman and I hope it works out,” he said, though added, “I have no interest in [watching the show].”
Maynard, on the other hand, was more liberal about her ex as she responded to his harsh comments through her Twitter account yesterday.
The 26-year-old reality star twitted to former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey, “I’m sure they accidentally cut off the part where he said it was a diamond encrusted bullet of course!”
The Southern beauty had returned the three-carat Neil Lane ring that was presented by Womack to her after they decided to end the relationship.
He proposed to her on their ABC reality show last year, but broke off their engagement mere months later.
