The designer bag-toting privileged young adults living on Manhattan’s Upper East Side have been drawing audiences since they hit the television screens in 2007.
However, a chop has been given to the hottest teenagers of New York as the announcement has been made that the sixth and final season of Gossip girl will air in the U.S. this autumn.
According to CW network, the show will be shown in a shortened version of the series at the end of this year. Only 11 more episodes are left now to go for the Gossip Girl.
This CW program had a successful run for last five years on television around the world. This series included guest appearances from c. Now this super hit series is about to fall off the radar.
Blake Lively’s Serena Van der Woodsen is expected to return to her old wild ways.
A spokesperson said, “Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl.
‘Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her.’”
The last set of shows will also focus on Nate Archibald’s mission to finally reveal the identity of the so far unidentified blogger simply known as Gossip Girl.
