Katy Perry Gains herself After Divorce with a Chart Topper
Being successful is doing loads of good for Katy Perry.
Katy Perry is 27 years old. She is still suffering the jolts of her divorce but she will be trying to erase her divorce woes as she will appear on the TV series Raising Hope.Katy Perry will be playing the role of Nikki, a prison attendant who says she’s a long-lost friend of Sabrina’s (Shannon Woodward), the latter of whom is arrested after participating in an Occupy Natesville protest.
Perry was roped in as a guest star because of her actual friendship with Shannon Woodward.
Executive producer Greg Garcia said: ‘Shannon Woodward told me that her friend Katy was interested in doing an episode and I thought, “Why not? Let’s do your friend Katy a favour.”
Garcia added, “Then she came in and did a terrific job. She was hilarious. And now people are telling me that Katy is also a singer.”
“I sincerely hope that her appearance on the show helps her get her singing career off the ground. It’s a tough business,” Garcia laughed while concluding.
